Huda Beauty Purple Haze Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette  includes four matte eyeshadows and five shimmer eyeshadows. The shimmers had a tendency to be thicker, denser, and/or stiffer, so they were harder to pair with the thin, powdery mattes. I actually had the best luck applying the shimmers first and then layering the mattes on or around; if I did it the other way (which keeps mattes more… matte when blended), the shimmers lifted up or created patchiness with the mattes.
